(Mexico City, 1970) Gustavo Artigas’ latest works relate ludic structures to disaster situations, creating interfaces to be played and developed by spectators or specific human groups. Themes such as social tension and behavior, encompassing extreme or unusual situations, are important subjects in his projects.

Is part of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte, FONCA-CONACULTA, since 2007. Currently directs a Contemporary Art Workshop at Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado, LA ESMERALDA in Mexico City.
