Encuesta de violencia a mujeres (in english: The Survey on Violence against Women) was conducted in a series of booths installed in several public spaces, where more than 2000 random women anonymously answered a questionnaire concerning violence, as a strategy to publicly address the issue. Those women who acknowledged they had been victims of violence were given a red badge with an equality symbol crossed out, to pin on their clothes, while the others got a green badge with the equality symbol left intact.
